Distance swimmer, Diana Nyad has overcome many obstacles, abused as a child and an openly gay athlete she has put her blood, sweat, and tears into swimming.  "Find a Way" is the story of Nyad's attempts of swimming from Havana, Cuba to Key West. With many things blocking her success, strong currents pushing her off course, life threatening Box Jellyfish stings, storms causing her to abandon her swim, along with her age. ; Nyad is determined that even with the odds against her, she will  find a way and succeed.

Nyad, who has been swimming since childhood, has written three other books. She has also contributed to NPR's "All Things Considered", "Newsweek Magazine, and CBS News show "Sunday Morning." She has been inducted into the United States Women's Sports Hall of Fame, awarded ESPN's Sports Science Newton Award for Outstanding New Limit, and named one of National Geographic's Adventurers of the Year.
Read by the author, Nyad narrates her story with passion and heart drawing the listener deep into her tale.
Patrons who enjoy biographies of athletes and reading about distance swimming from someone who has done it will enjoy this story.
